When booking, please state the date and area you wish to walk in, the number in your group and if you require assistance with any accommodation, transport, equipment or packed lunches.

2008 Rates

£120 per day for individual guiding

£150 per day for 2 walkers

£180 per day for 3 walkers

£220 per day for 4 walkers

£250 per day for 5 walkers

£250 per day for 6 walkers

Larger groups & corporate rates will be discussed on an individual basis.

Packed Lunches

If you require a packed lunch please state when booking.

A fee of £8.50 per person will be added to your account.

BOOKING & CANCELLATION TERMS

Your booking confirmation will be sent to you following receipt of a £40 booking fee per person and a completed booking form. The full fee less booking fee must be paid at least 2 weeks prior to the date of your walk. If MVM cancels the agreed walk a FULL refund of fees paid will be made. MVM recommends you take out cancellation, accidental and loss insurance.

EQUIPMENT & CHECK LIST

Please consider wearing several layers of clothing. Choose garments that are easy to move in, and are non-denim. Your boots should be in good condition providing you with ankle support and grip. You will need a day rucksack, preferably lined with a plastic sack.

• Hot/cold drinks (min.1 litre)
• Walking boots (2/3 season)
• Comfortable walking socks
• Gaiters
• Rucksack (up to 35 litres)

SAFETY

Activities in the outdoors are potentially hazardous by their nature and individual clients must accept a certain element of risk.

In the interest of safety you must agree to abide by the decisions of the leader.

Control over weather conditions is impossible, consequently routes may have to be altered accordingly or cancelled at short notice on the day.

You must advise the leader if you suffer from any medical conditions, or are taking any medication that may affect your ability to undertake the chosen walk.

Clients whose fitness or ability is clearly at variance with that required for the grade of walk may cause the abandonment of the day or a change of route for the whole group.

INSURANCE

You are strongly recommended to take out insurance for the booking in respect of cancellation, injury, death, lost or damaged items, liability, medical expenses and repatriation. You have to arrange this yourself.
